Triple Layer Bars

These Triple Layer Bars are layered with the perfect chocolatey peanut butter blend, gooey coconut, and a buttery graham cracker base. You won’t believe how good these taste! When my husband and I first started dating, I took a trip to his family’s Folly Beach home in South Carolina. His mom made these bars, and the rest is history. I request these every time we visit, and it has been 10 years! They really are that good.

Don’t let the coconut scare you…trust me, it’s pure magic the way these come together. Whether you’re whipping up an after-school snack, or simply treating yourself, these Triple Layer Bars are about to become your new sweet obsession.

What You Will Need:

  • Baking Dish (9×13)
  • Non-Stick Baking Spray
  • Graham Cracker Crumbs
  • Sweetened Coconut Flakes
  • Salted Butter
  • Milk, Dark, or Semi-Sweet Chocolate Chips
  • Peanut Butter (Crunchy or Creamy)
  • Sweetened Condensed Milk
  • Food Scale (Optional, but highly recommended!)

The Layers:

top layer:

This layer is my absolute favorite! The peanut butter brings a nutty, slightly salty kick, while the milk chocolate adds the perfect amount of chocolatey sweetness. You can use either crunchy or creamy peanut butter for this layer. If you like a little crunch, use crunchy! Together, these ingredients create a sweet & salty combination that will keep you coming back for more.

middle layer:

Alright, let’s talk about this gooey coconut layer – if you don’t like coconut, stay with me! It’s gooey in all the right ways, with a perfect balance of sweetness and just a hint of coconut flavor. I’m not a huge coconut fan, but this layer is perfection in these Triple Layer Bars!

bottom layer:

We can’t forget the final piece that brings these bars together! This soft, golden-brown graham cracker base with salted butter holding it together. I love using salted butter, as it really balances out all of the sweet notes we have going on in this recipe. Together, these ingredients create the perfect foundation that’s both sturdy and melt-in-your-mouth delicious.

customize:

Feel free to customize these bars with whatever ratio’s you prefer! For example, if you don’t love coconut, simply cut the recommended ingredient portions in half for that layer. Obsessed with that chocolate peanut butter combo? Double those ingredients and have an ultra-thick topping! The same goes for the soft, buttery graham cracker base. The ability to customize is just another thing to love about these Triple Layer Bars!

Well, there you have it – the perfect Triple Layer Bars! This mouth-watering recipe is a real keeper, and will have your friends and family dying for the recipe. Whether it’s for a backyard BBQ, a special occasion treat, or simply because you want something sweet in your life, this recipe is a hit every time!
